We want to send a HUGE thank you to Eric and his crew for an amazing, well organized trip. Eric was so willing to adjust for what we wanted – a private boat on the Chobe River; a flight out of the Delta; and even a night drive.

Our team was fantastic. Our guide Moyo found every animal we wanted to see. He was a wealth of knowledge and could answer any question we threw at him. Six was an amazing cook and was so much fun to have around camp. I don’t think we ever saw him without a smile on his face. Our camp assistant, Mr. Tee was so polite, very respectful and always nearby if anything was needed. He worked so hard having our camp set-up for us, having hot water ready whenever needed, clearing dishes, helping Six with meals – he was always busy. The combination of these 3 personalities, made for a wonderful week and lots of laughs.

If you are looking to do REAL bush camping in Africa we would highly recommend Bushcamp Safaris - they definitely chose the right name for their company. Besides camping with nobody else around, we were very pleased with the trucks that Eric uses. Other companies' trucks we saw were closed in at the front and/or back thus limiting the view. Our truck was wide open on all four sides which made for great game viewing.

Thanks to Bushcamp Safaris, we have managed to cross Africa off our bucket list, and plan to return for another visit.

For years, Botswana had seemed out of reach, that is, until we found Bush Camp safaris. Thanks to a very dedicated Eric and his excellent staff, we had the time of our lives. We had already been in Africa 6 times and often on rather easy self-drive safaris, but the tailor-made mobile-safari we went on was unforgettable. For a reasonable budget, given the Botswana policy, we spent 15 days of thrilling, moving, sometimes scary moments. We were rewarded in terms of wild life, but this time, we could also have a better approach of Botswana ways and uses, talking freely with our 3 great companions (guide/driver, cook and assistant). We lived in the bush in comfortable tents and Eric as well as his three guys did the best they could to find ways to make us feel good and understand Botswana's ways.Talks by the fireside, watching OT, our sensitive and sensible cook managing the fire, baking bread in the bush, preparing varied and delicious meals (we're french), going on 6-hour game drives with Moyo in spite of incredibly tiring roads from one point to another, listening to our entertainer Wilson deal with the deeply-rooted beliefs of his country, enjoying a cup of tea any time, listening to them softly singing in the morning or laughing together, we felt in another time and space. Thank you all for having done your best to make it unforgettable. The photos will never be able to convey what our hearts are filled with.Christian and Valérie. August 2009.

A huge thank you to Eric and all of the staff for providing an absolutely wonderful safari. The crew was top-notch! They were professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about anything we asked about. And believe me, I asked tons of questions. Please pass on my heartfelt appreciations to the entire crew. The animals in the bush were breathtaking but the guides, cook, and camp assistant were the crowning touch to a trip I'll never forget.

Bush camp safaris, that is a good choice of a name. Although I grew up in the northern part of Botswana, around the Maun area- I don't know much about flora and fauna. I am actually contemplating saving and touring; although you are not suppposed to judge a book by its cover I believe Bush Camp will be able to give the wild life experience i yearn.
