I experienced my first safari this last summer(sorry it took so long to write this. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thanks to Bush Camp Safaris and Eric. Eric tailored a safari to fit just the areas I wanted to see, and how best to fit the most into my 10 days.It was more than I ever expected. I am one of these people that isn't happy until I research everything until I'm crazy with it.
I'm glad I found Bush Camp Safaris.
I was totally immersed into Africa. If you can picture climbing out of your tent in the morning and watching the sunrise over the Okavongo with a cup of coffee, you feel like you are in another world. The lions roaring at night, in the far distance, became more real the next day when you were with your guide following their tracks. I hiked and tracked everyday with our guide, finding elephants, wildebeest, warthogs, zebra, bush impala, birds and more. Everyday was a new adventure. Our guide, Culture, was very knowledgeable about all of the animals, and could name every bird by sight and sound. The mokoro rides in the afternoon were spectacular. The African sunset can't be matched.
This was like being in a five star hotel but a lot more fun. The tents, cots, mattresses, and sleeping bags were provided and no complaints there. The gear was high quality. I even had a warm shower on the banks of the Okavongo. The quality of the meals was great and the skill of the cook was amazing.
Last but not least was the crew. They were so helpful and when we left it was like leaving good friends.
I could go on forever but for now I dream of Africa and seeing Eric and my old friends. I would be happy to talk to you personally if you have any questions about my trip with Bush Camp Safaris.

Thank you for a great experience in a fantastic nature. We are now some months later and in the cold winter evenings in Belgium we're watching the foto's and the great Summer feeling is back. We will send you one of the next weeks some fotos. The way we saw nature is the way I want to see nature not in cage but free!

Thank you for a wonderfull 10 days safari we did in the beginning of september. It was a great experience to be so close to the animals. Thanks to Kris, the cook and his help. We will make a lot of promotion for your organisation in Belgium.
